John Mayer Signature Series Guitar

Fender Musical Instruments has recently released a John Mayer Signature Series Stratocaster guitar. The guitar comes with an alder body, C-shaped maple neck, African rosewood fretboard, and three "Big Dipper" single-coil pickups.

The Fender Custom Shop has also created a John Mayer Custom Shop guitar to coincide with the release of Mayer's most recent album Try!. The guitar is being given away free by Fender in a contest that ends on January 31, 2006. Only 3 of these guitars were made. Mayer worked with Custom Shop Master Builder John Cruz to create the guitar, which features a reverse headstock and custom electronics.
