The Winter 2007 NAMM show is this weekend, and there is always a lot of exciting guitar-related announcements. One of the most interesting announcements to come out of NAMM this year is the fact that Eddie Van Halen has signed with Fender and, according to MacWorld, Fender will be producing 300 EVH Frankenstein replica guitars, as well as a line of EVH amps and other EVH products in the future. The replica guitars are based on Van Halen's legendary "frankenstein" guitar he put together in his early career, cost $25,000 and were sold out within 15 minutes.
